About

Hi, I’m Amina Yahaya.

Amina Yahaya – founder of Ikigai Bytes blog on calm productivity

SEO Content Writer • Founder of Ikigai Bytes

Welcome to Ikigai Bytes – a blog that helps early-career tech professionals in marketing, content, and SEO, build gentle, sustainable routines as they figure things out and grow careers.

This space is where I share reflections on SEO writing, mindful work, and learning in public as an early-career writer building slowly and intentionally.

How I started Ikigai Bytes

I didn’t set out to become an SEO content writer.

As a Gen Z introvert building Ikigai Bytes for intentional growth, I started writing because I craved a quiet nook to release ruminations on career uncertainty, and what it means to build a meaningful life without burning out or pretending to have it all figured out.

Writing became a way to experiment with ideas, slowly find my voice, and connect with like-minded people.

Somewhere along the line, I discovered SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Not the spammy, keyword-stuffed kind. I mean SEO as a research-and-data-driven way to understand people using search engines: what’s bothering them, why they’re searching, and what result they desire, and how great writing can meet them where they are.

That discovery changed how I approach content, from random expressions to valuable and helpful.

Since then, I’ve been deliberately learning and practicing SEO strategies.

After receiving mentorship on keyword research, search intent, content strategy, and on-page optimization, I’ve strived to protect something that matters so much to me: a warm human voice.

Why I write this blog

As a career switcher, I know how overwhelming it can feel to learn digital skills from scratch.

Most SEO beginners, for example, feel tired and unsure which online advice actually works for them, since the advice assumes confidence they may not yet have.

Ikigai Bytes exists to make that learning curve more meaningful and sustainable.

If you’re looking to improve your writing routine, understand SEO better, or feel less alone while figuring out your next step, you’re in the right place.
